I am on BC and i had sex the day before i was suppose to start my period and during the time i was suppose to be having my period. I never took the inactive pills and never really started a period. I am just wondering if i have any cause to be concerned, i have been feeling moody, but i feel like that from never really getting my period. And i also need to know if there is a possiblilty i could be pregnant bc i am still taking my pill. I also know that even if i took a test now it would show up neg bc its too early. Do i have to wait to see how my next period goes?

I will tell you the same thing I would tell my sisters and thats anytime you miss your period, there is always a cause for concern cause obviously something is out of the norm. Schedule an appointment with your docotor and let he/she know the problem you recently had with the pill (or the taking of it) and he/she will be able to assist. If they are worried about you being pregnant they will do a blood test. Not to mention, if you see your doctor about stuff like this, it shows that you are responsible and care about these things in your body. So the day you do become pregnant someday, he/she will already know how to handle it with you! Hope I helped! Oh and wait about a week or two after your missed period. I find some woman are different in when you can take the test. I am one of those touchy woman and I took it a week and a half after my missed period and it came out positive. So good luck!

When i was on the pill, I missed a full period. The doctor told me it was normal and if the pregnancy test came out negative, then trust it. If you miss two periods then make an apt. (Also, stress can cause your cycle to be crazy too) Good luck

thanks, i am still concerned so i am going to be taking a test this weekend just to reassure myself and so that if i was pregnant, i wouldnt harm the baby by staying on the pill too long! this whole process just sucks though, me and my boyfriend have plans to be engaged and get married within the next few years and right from the start we've always wanted kids at a young age. And we have always been good about knowing that we need to wait til we are married and have our own place to start a family, but now since this little scare we both are excited/confused bc i know if the test comes out neg we will both feel a little upset. And we both know it would be selfish of us to bring a child into this world bc we couldnt wait a few years! but then i see having a baby as a miracle, whether it was planned or not, because my aunt just went through IVF and everything for the past few years and no baby. she just recently had her tubes tied because of her age(38) and i always have that fear that the same thing will happen to me.

I wouldn't worry about that yet. My mom went through menopause at age 35 and she had 3 kids. If i worried about going through early menopause I would go crazy (I am 25 and still no kids). Even if i do go through the change early i still have 10 years to have kids. Get married and enjoy each other for a little bit before having kids and then it will happen when it is supposed to Good luck!

i had my daughter at 18 and bieng a young parent ESP single (bc my fiance ran when he found out I was actually pregos which I am glad cause i met my hubby) Is alot of work!!! Make sure that you are sure that you BF is going to be there!!! Speaking from expierience and watching my DD go through this horrible two family set up MAKE HIM MARRY YOU FIRST

I took a test to be safe, and it was neg. Its a relief and a little sad but i know its for the best, esp. bc i am starting a lot of new things at my work and it is starting to become very stressful and i kno stress is not good for a baby! My boyfriend was very upset it was negative..i felt bad, he just kept starring at the test hoping he'd see another line appear..but we both are looking ahead to the future and he will be moving out of his house in 2 months and then i will be joining him in about a year, when we are engaged, so everything worked out for the best! but i do know that if we did have a baby we would be okay.
