Hello experts,
My wife kept taking primolut-n for two days before the regular period day to postpone the periods (for two days) without knowing that she was pregnant and now when her pregnancy test came positive we are very worried if the pill is going to have an adverse effect on the baby or it can cause any deformities to the fetus please answer it for us. Thanks in advance.
This is a question for a doctor or pharmacist. You will find some information if you do a search on primolut-n and birth defects and read through all the possible side effects.
I just did a quick searchand found it is FDA risk category X, this means there is evidence fetal abnormalities and it is contraindicted in women who are or may become pregnant.
You should not rely on information found on the internet. Talk with your doctor to determine what your specific situation's risks are.
