    Default Groin pains/ pressure

I am 38 weeks and my next appointment with my OB/GYN is Thursday so I would like to ask a quick question about the subject. Does having sudden groin pain mean I am getting really close to delivery? Or is it possible that I just pulled those muscles without noticing right away?

I noticed this morning when I got out of bed that it hurt to stand because I had alot of pressure on my pelvic floor, bottom, hips and back. I tried laying down for a long time today after we got back from my Chistmas party at work, but my hips and shoulders started to really hurt (pressure points...owweee) So then I went for a walk (about 3 blocks) and it was worse! Now I am sitting on my bed and the pain is gone, but as soon as I stand the groin pain and pressure is back.

Next thing I am going to try is a warm bath to try soothe those muscles. Is there anything else I can do?

I am not sure about turning (I missed my last OBGYN appointment) but she dropped over a week ago.

You are getting close. My last couple weeks I had to sleep sitting up. Otherwise there was too much pressure on my bladder and my tummy got upset. Try to walk as much as you can. Are your legs feeling ok? I'm wondering if you could have pressure on a nerve or reduced circulation?

I also have to do 2 flights of stairs to get to my room. But I don't seem to have problems with those. I think maybe I must have pulled the muscle this morning when I got up because I got up pretty fast. It's mostly felt the right side of the groin so that could be it. But I can't explain the pressure. The warm bath helped relax my back muscles, but not so much my groin.

I took 2 acetaminophen and we'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'll try go for only a block walk from now on, maybe i'm pushing myself too much.
