Baby time
My husband and I have decided that we would like to start trying in the next few months to have a baby. This would be our first child and I just wanted to get some tips on how to prepare my body ahead of time. And just want to get any feedback that I can get.

lower your caffeine intake as well. your husband should also begin to eat more healthy, stop smoking and reduce his caffeine intake as well. things like knowing your cycle and having an idea when you are most likely to get pregnant are helpful. you can either discuss it or find the info on line pretty readily.
I have read that guys have a better chance of getting someone pregnant if it's been 2-3 days since they last ejaculated. i'm guess that any sooner and the sperm count is lower, and longer and the sperm isnt as strong anymore.

try searching for things like pregnancy or american pregnancy. one of those should lead you to some information that might be helpful.
This is very true. When you two start trying, try to abstain from sex, or anything that could make him ejaculate, 2-3 days before the day you should start ovulating. His swimmers will be more than plentiful that way.Originally Posted by sperosi

That's pretty easy for him, I'm the one who may have trouble abstaining...lol. But whatever it takes, thanks for the comments. I just wanna be smart about having a baby.
