Default Pregnancy after Tubaligation (TRUE? or FALSE?)

I had a cut & burn tubal ligation 7 years ago. During these 7 years I've continued to hear "stories" of women becoming pregnant even after having this same type of tubal ligation. I didn't think it was possible, but for some reason this conversation keeps coming up around me.
I'm afraid to ask my doctor, as he might think I'm having "regrets" or considering a reversal (which by the way, I've never considered).
So is there any truth to this???
PLEASE HELP so that I can clear this thought from my head. THANKS!

The only 100% way you cannot get pregnant is if you remove the reproductive parts. There is still a small % chance that you can get pregnant if you have your tubes tied or if the guy has a vasectomy. The % is very very low but if it is meant to be, God will find a way to make it happen.

If you are worried about being pregnant then go take a test. However, since the chances are so low it could be anything though causing you to be late. Ease your mind and take a pregnancy test...keep us posted.

I had a tubal ligation (cut and burned) a year ago. Since then I have been looking up all the info I can on them (should have done this first because I do deeply regret it) and the effectivness rate of a TL is actually less then most birth control pills. My doctor told me (and also put in the report) that it has a 5% to 7% chance of failure.

Wink how can that be?

i find so rare that if you have your tubes tied cut and burned that you can get pregnant again its like impossible i think the only way that could happen is if the tubes where to find each other and meet again and heal themselves me i have some regrets but at times i dont never been to much of a kid person, but sometimes i do want another one its kind of like i do want one at times and then i dont i guess my only bet is to leave it in gods hands.. but all i know is your body does heal itself according to your body and the way it works. if your fertile i heared that you can get preagnant faster, dont know if that is true?
