im guessing you are pregnant? i dont know how safe abortion is. What i can tell you is abortion very harsh and cruel thing to do, you can still have the baby and give it up for adoption if you dont want it.

    Abortions are pretty safe.
If you are early on, a 'vacuum' method is used,
like a menstrual extractor...where everything is
just sucked out of the area.
Later on, you might have to go for a D & C.

    Quite painless procedure.

Abortions are cruel. The best thing would be to have the baby & put it up for adoption. There are so many people out there that want babies & can't have them. Adoption is the best way for you to go. Good Luck.

    Default Not your decision

abortions are treated just like any other procedure. Thay take a lot of mesures to ensure your safety. Like the other woman said you usually just have to go for a checkup after to make sure everything is back to normal

And just for the record.. The women who wrote that abortions are cruel. That may not be your choice. But when someone is asking advice about a certain procedure they didnt want to know your personal beliefs on the matter. I sure didnt. Having a baby at the wrong time and not being able to support one in any kind of way, or giving your child up for adoption with a big BIG percentage of foster children getting lost in the system and never finding a real home is ALSO CRUEL!!! This IS NOT YOUR DECISION!!!!!!!

Hope everything works out well for you no matter what you decide.

it is not our decision, it certainly is her decision but i wouldnt see someone going to do something that is totally cruel and not advise them about it. Im not telling her "dont do an abortion at all" is up to her. What i was letting her know is that ripping your child of from your womb is not a nice thing to do to herself and the baby. she also said she was "confused".

When a child is lost in the adoption system is also bad, but not all of them are like that.

Nothing is more cruel than bringing an unwanted child into
    this world.

Lee Boyd Malvo is an example of what happens to an
    unwanted child.

    You remember him?
    The sniper boy?

    He is not unique.

You see, I don't get them when they are little and cute,
I get them when they are seventeen and charged for
    a number of murders.

Many of the worst criminals in my country, and in yours,
come from the No Parent family.

Investigations carried out on most men on death row
find that they were abandoned shortly after birth,
raised by various people who couldn't care less about
them, and grow up totally without compassion and
    morality.

Having a baby is different from getting a puppy.
It is a twenty four seven job that never ends.
If one is not committed to this job, then one
should not bring another unwanted child into the
    world.

It would have been of benefit if the female who
became pregant with Lee Boyd Malvo had an
abortion, instead of subjecting the child to all
forms of neglect during his young life so that he
would become the zombie of the first man who
    ever showed interest in him.

    Abortion is a woman's right.
If she believes if for any reason she can not
devote herself to raising a child, if she can not
love the child, then abortion is the kindest move.

There is no place for the unwanted child.
    Adoption Agencies, shelters, foster care
have all proven to be inadequate, and in
some cases, close to concentration camps.

Nearly every day there is another revelation...
whether the foster 'parents' who starved the
children, raped them, neglected them, or the
    agencies which are pederast heaven.

I have never seen any anti-abortion organisation
which offers to support the woman, monetarily
and socially, until she gives birth, and commit
to raising the child for eighteen years.

It is better to have an abortion than to give
birth to a child like Lee Boyd Malvo.

It may have seemed like I wrote what I did with hostility but thats the furthest thing of what I was trying to get across. Patricia, In no way do I think your beliefs are wrong.. I just have a diffrent oppinion on things. I stand very strong in my beliefs and only was trying to be helpful to the young lady who asked a specific question. Yes, she is confused but writing things like..."ripping your child of from your womb is not a nice thing to do to herself and the baby" Is something she does not need to hear.. Its like your trying to persuade her decision. No matter what she believes is right for herself is her right.. But if she needs facts about certain procedures like abortion or even adoption, It's best to try to stick to factual answers.
No disrespect.. It's good to hear feedback from other women..and I hope in any case She figures out what she needs to do for herself.

We fought very long and hard for safe abortions.
It is bad enough a bunch of guys believe that pregnancy
is the punishment for sex, but when a woman tells another
how 'cruel' it is to abort, I can just about lose it.
