unsure if I had a miscarriage

Okay... I'm kind of confused and just need some advice

I had unprotected sex a week ago. I'm not trying to get pregnant, he pulled out. A few days later I started feeling like I was PMSing... I knew my period was coming. This morning there was way more blood than usual, and I never bleed this much out of nowhere.. usually the first day is light. Suddenly I started having the worst cramps I've ever had.. the pain was all over entire abdominal area and even my stomach. It hurt so bad that I couldn't stand to shower. I still feel the pain, but it's not as bad.. it's definitely not normal, though. I usually only feel it where my ovaries are, but the aches are everywhere =(

is it possible I'm having a miscarriage? Sorry to sound ignorant. The only time I could've gotten pregnant was a week ago

If your period arrived at around the time you were predicting it, if has only been a week since possible conception... chances are good that its not a miscarriage.

You should make an appointment with your gyno though just to clear your mind and it would be a good time to learn about what birth control might be the best option for you if you're not trying to have a baby.
