I don't think it is anything to be worried about. Mine got darker with my first, but didn't really with my second until the very end of my pregnancy, maybe 34-36 weeks and definitely not as noticeable as with my first.
I am 10 or maybe more weeks pregnant, but not more than 20wks. This is my second pregnancy...with my first pregnancy my Areola got darker. I don't remember them getting lighter after I had my daughter. When I found out I was pregnant this time my areolas did not darken as much as when I was pregnant last time. I also have noticed they seem to be even lighter now, however my breast have gained at least a size or two, and are still very tender. I am worried about the color not changing or changing or being different as a sign that something is wrong. I think I just need peace of mind...I have way too much time to think. I get a US on Wednesday to determine gestational age. but till then I have plenty of time to really think.![]()

Friendship Prayer
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.
Amen
Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.
I agree. Not a concern a it is pretty 'normal'. I do however recommend you continue making observations about your body, your body has it's way of talking to you and it is great that you can see and hear these things. Good for you.......Be well...
IF YOU ALWAYS DO WHAT YOU ALWAYS DID YOU WILL ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU ALWAYS GOT
I would agree that its is absolutley nothing to worry about, every pregnancy is different, any mother who has at least 2 children will tell you the same. Although just for your own peace of mind, anything that worries you, talk about it to the doctor! Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!
