Default Outa My Mind As Well!

I'm usually on time or 2 days on either side. but never this late. 10 days today, I've been getting some cramps in this last week but they feel slightly differant to what i'm used to. They're less painfull, and last a few seconds longer. For some reason I cant explain I just know I'm not going to have a period. I check constantly, but already know before I do. I'm also getting a white/clear non smelly dicharge.

I did 2 hpt's after 4 days late and went to the doctors yesterday, he wouldnt do a test untill next week. He said it is still possibly too early to tell as the accuracy depends on your hormone levels.

after my appointment my mum took me to a clinic and we had a test done there, and it came back negative. Though it wasnt the first sample of the day which is what they prefer to have.
The nurse told me to wait another month and then go back to my gp.

I'm very confused, I dont know how to word how I feel, but something feels differant. Though that might be becuse I'm thinking about this so much.
My boyfriend suggested I go to the hospital and see if they can give conclusive answer, as both the doctor and the nurse didnt seem convinced by the result.

very confused!
Hi so I am 12 days late and the latest I've ever been was 10 (although I'm usually within 5 on either side) and I just wanted to say that I know exactly what you're talking about when you say "I can't explain I just know I'm not going to have a period." This happened to me two months ago and my period came 5 days late. Then this month I came to my husband the day my period should have come (I usually have pre-symptoms, and can tell it's coming a few days to a week before) and I told him "I'm pregnant..." even though it would be seemingly impossible because we've been off the pill since January but have been using protection 100% of the time. So how could I be pregnant? But, I know my body. And I know this doesn't feel normal. I took a pregnancy test when I was 7 days late and it came back negative. I still have one more and am planning on taking it in two days. If I learn anything I'll let you know! I would be interested to hear what you (or others) are going through in the meantime, as well!

Default Missed Period

Hi, my periods are late six days and I feel like I am pregnant or else I am just imagining it. I am trying for a baby at the moment so it is makes me anxious not knowing. I did a test last month and one of them turned out positive, however I read that Clearblue sometimes does that. I got my period in the end.
This month I felt like I was getting my period as I was cramping but none came. Through reading the other replies we are all in the same situation. I am going to see my doctor next week so I will mention it to her.
I hope all will reply back and let us know what the outcome was in the end.
Thanks all for making me feel better reading the website, Im not the only one going mad.

I will keep ye posted!!!

Default Hello All and HELP!!!

Hello all...I am new to this site but I happened to stumble upon it and I'm glad I did. I am in a similiar situation as everyone else and I need some advice because apparently my doctor is nuts!

I am over a week late, I have ALL of the symptoms of pregnancy, 3 negative home pregnancy tests, and a negative doctor's pregnancy test (urine). I just know I'm pregnant because my period is never late. I can tell you the exact minute of when my period is coming and for it to be late is very unusual.

I just got married a month ago and my husband and I really want to have kids together and I'm not sure if this is just phantom pregnancy or what, but I would really appreciate some advise.

Are urine and at home pregnancy tests that reliable, especially this early?

Not only did I come back negative, but my docotor didn't even check and see why my period hasn't started yet.

Has anyone else been in this situation? I know you all were talking about at home pregnancy tests, but what about the ones the doctor gives?

Is a blood test more reliable than a urine test?

HELP!!!

THANKS!

Default To Prayer

Hi, supposily the doctors dont do the blood tests anymore and that is why they give you the urine test. However I would say just to keep on testing every week or so. In a few weeks if you have not got your periods I would go back to your doctor and tell him it needs to be looked into.
Reading the other replies before, they say that if your doctor does nothing, change doctors.

Good Luck!! I plan on doing another test on Friday and going to my doctor on Monday. However I could be in the same situation as you with my doctor not doing anything!! Its so frustrating!!!!
