Cramps, negative test, but no period 6 weeks late - Page 9

Hi,
I was actually in similar situation as you ,has severe cramps , and all teh symptons of preganancy and my test was negative as well. I awas 10 days late and went to my doctors and found out that I was actually 6wks pregnant. What can happen is sometimes when you do hpt its not 100% reliable . I would strongly recommend to get a test done at the doctors. goodluck.

I've done several tests, first thing in the morning, after a 3 and a half hour drive and they all come back negative. I swear I'm feeling movements, but of course this could all be in my head because I want to feel movements. I drink a TON of water. That's all I drink in fact. So, I didn't know if that would dilute the results. So, this weekend I didn't drink barely any water. I had tea and things different, or not much to drink. I usually drink water because it's on my desk at work. But, still negative. I want to be pregnant. So, I guess I'm looking for a shot in the dark. I have my appt tomorrow morning so we'll see what happens.

Is anyone checking there Basel Body temp? that would at least tell you if you have even ovulated yet and even possible pregnancy if your BBT is high for more than 18 days in a row. I think that would take alot of stress off. and IMO it's not hard to do every morning.

i went to the clinic and had a pg test done.. CAME OUT NEG!!!
umm im super confused!!

i havent had my period since Feb 9th 2007..
WHAT SHOULD i DO?!?!?

I had the same response. I had to ask for a blood test. The doctor gave me medicine to start my period but I told him I'd feel more comfortable about it if I could get a blood test. He was sending me anyway so he added it to the list. That test will come back in three to five days. If that's negative then I'll believe it.

Okay, I got my results back. It turns out it is a good thing I missed my period because it prompted my doctor to look for other things and she found it. I have a cyst on my ovary which needs to come out and a deviation in my uterus which needs to be checked before I get pregnant to determine risk for preterm labor. I can't express how important it was for me that my doctor didn't just limit me to prego or not, but looked into every possible explanation. She started tests when I was two weeks late and in two more I will be good as new and ready to get pregnant instead of still wondering if I am or why I am not. If you've missed your period, are not testing positive for pregnancy,and your doctor isn't looking into every possible reason, find a new doctor. Good luck Gals, I hope all of your mommy dreams come true.

Hi all, I have had a bad few days, quick re-cap!!
period was due begining of may, have done three home and one blood test all negative, then had bad cramps and spotting last thursday then nothing, Sunday was very ill, really bad cramps pins and needles in my hands arms really sick and 4:30am Monday ended up in hospital!

They seemed to think I had a water infection even though I had already had a water test done that was clear, said I was not Pregnant and gave me some tablets and I'm now back home.

Went to see my own GP last night as I was suffering with really bad head aches, he retested my water and said there was no infection and to stop taking the tablets because if I am pregnant it may be to early to show yet (spotting last thursday could have been implantation) so it would not show for at least another week, and I should NOT take these tablets if I am.

Got up today, still peeing around the clock, ( NO burning or anything like infection) still feeling tired, my GP has called me to inform me that he looked into my tests at the hospital and there was NEVER any evidence of infection and I should have not been given the tablets!!!!

I now have to wait and see if I get my period this weekend as that is when I should be due again and if nothing happens here we go again!!, luckily my GP wants to see me next week eather way to find out what has been going on with my poor body!.
Still peeing and feeling very heavy in my lower area and watery disscharge so who knows!! I will keep you all informed as to the out come!!

I Know How This Waiting Thing Could Be. Its Like One Minute You Think Everything Is Okay And Then At Other Times You Have This Little Feeling In You Saying Something Isnt Right. All My Friends Say That Im Pregnant But When I See It, I'll Believe It. Try To Take Your Mind Off Of It. ( I Know Its Hard) Find Other Things To Do. I Have No Recommendations Of Course Or Else I Would Be Doing Them Myself. Time Will Tell.

Well Im Not As Confused Anymore As I See Now That A Blood Test Can Come Out Negative Only Because Your Horomones Arent In The "range" That They Say It Should Be In. What He Heck, Man. More Waiting. Less Stressful Though

That test will come back in three to five days. If that's negative then I'll believe it.
