How do I tell fiance I'm pregnant??

Yesterday I had my first ever "morning sickness" moment. For the last couple of days I've been extremely tired. And for the last 3 weeks, I've been asked numerous times (jokinly) maybe you're pregnant.

So I took 2 tests last night and another one this morning to confirm. They all came back positive.

Now I am a mess of emotions. I think I'm in shock more than anything.

I stopped taking the pill in February after taking it for 12 years. I really didn't think it would happen this quickely. We are getting married on August 28th. Talk about bad timing. I feel like we are going to suck my parents dry......they are helping us with the wedding, and my sister is having a baby in July (1st grandchild for my parents). And now I have to tell them that we are expecting too.

I dont' know how to tell my fiance. I know he will be in shock and probably upset at first. This is really bad timing (our Stag & Doe is in 2 weeks, and my bachelorette is in July and all the showers in between.......people will KNOW if I'm not having a drink!!) But I know once the shock wears off, he will be estatic.

So now that I have vented, does anyone have any ideas on how I could tell him?? I'm such a mixed bag of emotions right now....happy but scared, and shocked and worried.

please help.

well every man thinls he's more of a man if he's made a baby with you. He will be exceptionaly proud, trust me. And it might be shocking in the beginning and scary of course but excitement will win out in the end. And we all know, everything always works out anyways. Whether we worry & stress about it in the beginning or not. If not, then you'll just have more with your unexpected surprise along the way already

a neat way to tell him is maybe to go buy a baby bottle and put your positive pregnancy test in there and set it at his plate at the dinner table instead of a regular cup. Lol he might be shocked but remember, shocking news is always better to take sitting down

He will be very happy about it and his first thought will be that he'll be a dad, not that he has more to pay. Just tell him

One thing though: If you weren't planning to conceive, why did you stop taking the pill? Especially when you have everything so organized...

You will soon be married and you are engaged. There's nothing bad about telling everyone you're pregnant, they will be happy to know
