I have been taking Bromocriptine since December. My prolactin levels have dropped from 1322 to 221 and my specialist is very pleased with this. Since taking Bromocriptine i have had 2 spontaneous periods. My 3rd period was due in May but it never came. AND i am still waiting. Does anyone know why these have stopped ?? I had a 21 day prolactin test in April which showed i did not ovulate. My next appointment is not until September and whilst waiting i am meant to have 3 more 21 day test following a period but as i said before i haven't had one.... I am also due to have a hsg (i think) xray when my next period starts also.
Everything seems to be put on hold again waiting for a period, i feel like i have gone backwards after everything started so well.
Can anyone give me any advise, i feel like i am going mad.....
