To make a long story short, I started Weight Watchers a few months ago. Last month, my period was a 28 day cycle exactly. That's not typical for me, usually, I have a 33-34 day cycle. I think the change in diet made my period more normal. I track my ovulation and period, and have been very accurate. I can tell when I'm ovulating; I can feel it. Anyway...

My husband and I had unprotected woohoo on Friday, June 11. I am so used to my ovulation being later in the month, and I was so into the moment. Afterwards, I was online, and decided to check my ovulation calendar. Well, it said I was very fertile, and set to ovulate on Sunday, June 13 (today). I think I started ovulation yesterday, actually. My temp has been up since yesterday, and I had some blood discharge this morning.

We have never cut it this close before. We do want kids, but we weren't really trying right now. I wanted to lose more weight, but if I am pregnant, then I guess it was meant to be. I do feel I am ready emotionally.

With my diet change, and the fact I have been taking a vitamin with folic acid for a year, do you think my chances are pretty high? When is the earliest I can test? Thanks!

And I would like to add, after my husband ejaculated inside of me, I did sit with my backup propped up for about 30 seconds while he got a towel. I then immediately went to the bathroom. I guess I am just trying to gauge how likely it is. I know there is no way I got every little sperm out. I do want to be a mother, I just wanted to be more healthy. I'm still overweight and I really don't want to get gestational diabetes or put my baby at risk for anything

I had problems conceiving with my first... With my second (I wasn't ready yet and ASSUMED I would have the same problems), well, I, like you, had been on WW for a few months, what would you know, wam bam pregnant oh man! I had no idea because my periods were pretty irregular and I was 10-12 weeks before I even found out!

I was a bit overweight with both pregnancies and thankfully did not develop gestational diabetes. If in fact, you are pregnant, just be mindful of your diet. Some pregnant women think that being pregnant is a free pass to eat a dozen donuts every day, it's not.

Back to your original question, you never know, but with the way you described, I think you have a pretty good chance at being pregnant. It's crazy what a little bit of weight loss will do to your fertility!

There are some early pregnancy tests, that you can test about 5 days before your period, in any case, at least test the first day you miss.

You could be pregnant, you could not be. The planets have to align, the timing has to be perfect, the wind has to be blowing the right way...etc etc. Seems when people are trying it takes months and months. There really is a TINY window of opportunity and everything has to be just right. But then when you're not trying.....OOPS.

But, if you're ready, other than the weight issue then no worries. You can test about 5 days before you're period is to come.

You can still eat right and exercise even while pregnant (and you should).

I am ready, I just wanted to be healthier. I guess it's not a huge concern, since yes, I would continue to be healthy even when pregnant. It's funny, because according to the Chinese Birth Chart, I'd have a girl, and I really would like to have at least 1 daughter. I know those birth charts are just for fun, but it would be interesting if I really did have a girl :P

Also, when do you think I would start feeling any signs if I was pregnant?

It's different with everybody. With my first, I was about 4-5 weeks when I started getting horrendous nausea and very very painful boobs. With my second, I was feeling sick, I guess around 7-8 weeks, but hadn't really vomited yet. I started getting real nauseous around 10 weeks and vomited, the only other time I had vomited like I did then, was when I was pregnant with my first, so I kind of figured at that point I was pregnant.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I think I am going crazy, because today, I have been extremely tired. More then usual. I have also had cramping. Would that even be remotely possible if I conceived over the weekend? Or it could be PMS. I just feel....off. Very tired, though. The cramping just started tonight. I don't typically cramp before my period. But like I said, if I did conceive, it was on Saturday or Sunday. Is it even possible to feel any symptoms THIS early if I am pregnant?

They generally say it takes 10-14 days post conception for your body to build up enough hormones to trigger pregnancy symptoms. Could be phantom symptoms... You know, where you keep thinking thinking thinking, then all the sudden you have those symptoms. Take a breather and sit back for a couple weeks.

I forgot to mention, I had bleeding yesterday. It would be far too soon to be implantation bleeding, or so I think. It was brownish/light red. Wasn't much, just a few wipes worth. Today I am having slight cramps, and extreme fatigue. Could be PMS, though.
