I know that I am preggers, although I have had negative blood and urine test I know my body. The doctor has said oh maybe perimenopause I knew that wasn't it and of course after my labs came back it confirmed she was wrong. Then she test for pcos negative also, let me add I had a tubal 10 1/2 years ago, none the less I know my body. So I had an ultrasound done on the 11th and she THOUGHT she saw a cyst it is my baby so I have another ultrasound in six weeks I have none of the s/e of a cyst only pregnancy. I didn't have a period in may a slight one this month. I will keep u ladies posted. BTW this post is NOT a question I have no doubt in my mind that my baby is coming. Fyi I am 33 and healthy and preparing for my baby to come. oh yeah I am about 8 weeks preggers.

Gotta love how doctors think they know everything, right?

I have a question. Did the doctor see the "cyst" in the tubes or ovary? The tubal pregnancy history got me worried. You can ignore this question if you feel like not answering it.

The biochemistry of blood work delivered by the lab is what you should be going by, the at-home pregnancy tests are of course not going to be as reliable but if the lab says no then the doc has no choice but to say no you are not pregnant. You could have become pregnant inbetween the time you had the first blood panel done though which could explain why you still believe you are pregnant. If the cyst is in fact your fetus and it is in the ovary or tubes then you will likely not be having a baby due to the extreme danger of an ectopic pregnancy.

The cyst was in the ovary.....it was a few little cysts......not big ones......I have always known I had them since 02.......Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.......so it was no surprise to me......I dont know if I mentioned this but we are currently in Korea and it was a Korean Doctor and so it being the first time i had seen him I think he misunderstood me and was just confirming that i had PCOS which I had written down on my application....because he told me I had and then was surprised that I already knew....so somewhere in the communication he misunderstood that is why i am not set on his findings...I just got back from my other american doctor on Post and they drew blood for a HCG test to actually measure the Level....which is what i wanted all along......so ewe shall see what they say in a few hours......

I do have a question though if it was in the tube and was eptopic would nt it be painful already.....

An ectopic pregnancy usually gets bad only when the fetus develops to a larger size, at initial conception it probably would feel no different than a regular pregnancy. The only way you would know is on the hospital bed getting an ultra sound or on the floor after a possible massive internal hemorrhage.

There would be persistent, significant pain on one side before a massive hemorrhage. With that being said, if there are pregnancy symptoms and negative tests, ectopic is a possibility and you should definitely keep a close watch on your body.
