Contrary to often perpetuated myths, women cannot get pregnant at ANY time during their cycle. In fact, it takes a pretty perfect combination of factors to get pregnant, and it's actually more difficult than we're led to believe. Since you have an irregular cycle (and it may not even be "irregular"....just because you don't menstruate every 28 days doesn't mean you're abnormal), I would HIGHLY recommend tracking your fertility so that you know when you are fertile and when you are not. There's a website (and a book) called Taking Charge of your Fertility that you should check out. Fertility tracking is easy--it involves checking your temperature every morning and observing your cervical mucus for signs of ovulation/fertility. Read about it and know your body.
