I took, 2 pregnancy tests a month ago and both came back positive. I saw my doctor, so I know I am 2 months along.

But my issue is, can you still get your period while being pregnant. I was spotting a couple weeks ago, after having sex with my boyfriend. But it only lasted like maybe 10 minutes. But today I started my period and I have the normal cramping that I normally get with my period. From what I read on other sites, it is not possible to get your period while pregnant.

But I heard from other sources, that they had their period for 6 months to almost the whole pregnancy....

I have also heard that you CAN get your period while pregnant, hence why some people get pregnant and don't realize it.

Okay, because I am getting cramps and am bleeding but it is not too heavy nor too light. I am just worried that I will have a miscarriage.

Here are some basic symptoms of a miscarriage that I found on the first site that popped up in google:

-Vaginal bleeding that may be light or heavy, constant or irregular. Although bleeding is often the first sign of a miscarriage, first-trimester bleeding may also occur with a normal pregnancy. But bleeding with pain is a sign that miscarriage is more likely.

-Pain. You may have pelvic cramps, abdominal pain, or a persistent, dull ache in your lower back. Pain may start a few hours to several days after bleeding has begun.

-Blood clots or grayish (fetal) tissue passing from the vagina.

So annoyingly, if you're just bleeding, it could either be normal OR a sign of miscarriage. Don't you love that?

I'd say for the moment you shouldn't worry, and make another appointment to see your doc for peace of mind.

I am having pelvic cramps. But no gray tissue as of yet. Oh that makes me just a little bit more nervous. I do not see my Doctor until August 9. But I am thinking of going to a walk in clinic and getting another pregnancy test done just to make sure that I am still pregnant. I know I may be going over board with that, but it is the only way I can soothe my nerves. Thanks...
