Right now I am unemployed and possibley pregnant. How do I go about seeing a doctor to confirm if I am or not? Also I would like to get an std test too but I don't know how expensive they are. I know most clinics do a free hiv but I would like to get tested for other stds. Where do I start looking for help at? Someone told me that motherhood is cheap to go to for stuff like that (which is a womens clinic)...can anyone help me in looking in the right direction.

It depends on where you are... In the US, there are Planned Parenthood offices and/or state medical offices that charge on a sliding scale depending on your income. No income, no charge.

You can start by calling a regular Dr's office, they may have some recommendations for you.

Gee I sound like a broken record..... but
Yes, Planned Parenthood is a great resource. So is your state or local health department. Pretty much all states have free services for std testing and pregnancy counseling.
