Provera and Clomid
Hi Ladies!
I am new here and looking for any advice or personal stories/experiences you have had with Provera and Clomid.
A little background- I am 28 was recently told I most likely have PCOS, after going off b/c and not having a period for over 6 months my doctor gave me provera to force a period and then clomid to help with ovulation. I just started provera (I'm on the 4th day...)
My husband and I are not necessarily trying to conceive right away, although we would be excited if it did happen, as we are pretty much at the point where we are both ready.
Has anyone else used those prescriptions to help? Stories? Advice?

I used them with my first... It took a few cycles, 3 or 4 I think (10 years ago). Crazy hot flashes, but nothing else really.
Start taking prenatals and eating right. Buy some ovulation tests so that you know when you will be ovulating, also, once you get close to ovulation, don't have sex for a couple days before. His sperm count will be higher if he refrains from ejaculating 2-3 days before your ovulation.
