Okay I was on depo from 2005 until 2009. Never had a period. No BC at all until Feb. of this year I got the copper IUD, had it until the beg. of June. I bled the whole time, so no I dont really think I ever had a period, was just bleeding (the day after I got it taken out I stopped bleeding.) I know I've read that yes you can get prego without haveing a period, but...from what I can tell that's more of woman who are regular, or at least have one at some time. Ive got to find a new geno dr. because I didnt really like my other one. So, anyone know? We are using condoms. Sorry I just notice there's another catagory genocology that may be more appropriate. But I dont think I can move it!

I'm confused on what you are asking... Are you asking if you can get pregnant by not being regular?

Is it possible to get pregnant when you have not had a real period in years I guess is more of it.

It depends on ovulation. Your period is going to be out of whack for quite some time due to the shot and IUD, so who knows when/if you are ovulating. Your best bet is to use protection until your cycles return to some kind of normalcy. You can start tracking your BBT or pick up some ovulation tests to take randomly to see if you are even ovulating at any point.

I was on Seasonale (the three month pill) for a year or so, when I stopped it because it effected me the same way as the shot. When I stopped, my periods were completely erratic and/or absent for months. Eventually, I found out I was 10-12 weeks pregnant out of the blue with my second, hadn't a clue when it could have even happened because my cycles were a mess.

Use protection if you don't want to be, that's for sure.
