Hello, I gave birth to a baby girl about 2 months ago, about 4 weeks before I went into labor I noticed that I was having a little trouble seeing things I normally can see perfectly. I never got this checked, because I thought maybe it was just from being pregnant. Well, my vision is not any better and I am squinting often to see. I always had perfect vision until pregnancy. Can pregnancy change eyesight or does it sound like I might need glasses?? Thanks -Andrea
Yes pregnancy does affect vision. Usually due to hormones and fluid retention can affect the thickness of your cornea. If you wear glasses or contacts it is usually safe a few months after you have your baby to go in for an eye exam. This is because your eyes usually turn back to normal. I hope this helps.
