Yesterday I went for an U/S and everything was fine. I'm 7w and 4d. After the exam the doctor needed a urine sample. I did not have to go, they said I could not come back and I had to wait there until I had to go. My mother is ill and lives with me I had to leave her alone to come to the doctor. My fiance was getting impatient and the waiting room was getting really crowed. I have problems with anxiety and started have a panic attack. We I went to the bathroom to try again I kept repeatedly to try and get myself to go, I didn't press to hard, but it wasn't that soft either, I also pushed and strained really hard to try and go. Today when I woke I feel like I have bruised the area around my lower abdomen. I don't see an bruises, but I feel sore. Does anyone think I could have hurt the baby? I know I shouldn't have done it but I just really wanted to get out of there

Sorry I was in a hurry when I typed this I should have said I repeatedly kept pressing on my bladder trying to force myself to use the restroom, and I was wondering if the pressure or the force of repeatedly pushing in on my stomach could cause any problems. Like I said I didn't push all that hard but it wasn't really soft either.

Not likely. At 7 weeks the fetus is not all that large so it would take some serious blunt force to do damage, not to mention the uterus is a strong flexible piece of anatomy for the protection of the baby. You will cause more internal compression if you roll over on your stomach in the middle of the night to sleep so I really would not be worried however do not make it a habit.
