Thread: molar pregnancy

hi. i wanted to know if anyone has ever experienced a molar pregnancy? im 19 and about a little over half a year ago i did. i had a d&c to remove the bad tissues. i wanted to know whats going to happen now. and what are the chances of getting pregnant again? i have a 2 year old already but i would like to have another baby. my boyfriend and i been trying but still no baby yet. did the surgery cause getting pregnant to be complicated? im so confused. please let me know if you guys have any information on it. thank you

hi i have also experienced a molar pregnancy, i believe it was in 08' im currently 19 yrs old also. i got pregnant at the end of feb. and miscarried in may i thought it was allover wit but still had symptoms and positive test they told me i should have a d&c but i held it off bcuz i didnt want surgery but had one set up for months later (idk why) in july 23rd after i came back from vcay the day befor on he 22nd i was in the car driving down the rd with my then bf and had the urge to use the restroom so i told him we needed to hurry i couldnt wait then all of a sudden i start bleeding terrible it was like i was peeing and i couldnt stop it it was sooo bad idk wht to think called the doctors they said tht was a sign i really needed the d&c good thing it was scheduled the next day huh.. after tht i have to get my blood drawn every week to make sure the hcg i believe was decreasing and then every month to make sure it ddnt come back i had to have xrays done to make sure it didnt spread or something tht i didnt get cancers from it luck me i was fine but was told they didnt want me to get pregnant for a whole year to make sure it didnt return i was put on the shot aug 08' but been fine since then i stayed on it a whole year and ended my last shot aug 09 since then my bodys not been that normal with periods and currently going thru not having one since the end of july making it 3 months without one i thought it could be possible pregnancy but ive taken test and they were all negative and experience back pain for the past two weeks but other than that im fine lol not tryna scare you but wanted to tell you how my story was your was kinda simial to mine
