Thread: 10 yr period gap...pregnancy possible?

So I first started my period at 13. It was normal for a couple of years then in my teens it started to get irregular. I was sexually active at 14. In my 20's it went down to maybe twice a year and then stopped at about 23. Now the only time I have periods is when I take provera. Got married at 24 and have been going through some fertility processes. Chlomid, provera, dye test for tubes to check for scarring or blockage, checking temp ect... nothing major. PCOS was the diagnosis, no abnormal paps. I have high testosterone also. So back in Nov. 09 at 34yrs I tried chlomid for the last time for 2 months and was told I was not ovulating but could not continue further methods due to finances. So in Jan I started my period on my own for the first time in 10 years. I have been having a period since and the last 5 months it has been about 20 days out of each month stoping and starting all the time. So I had a well women exam, pap was fine, blood work still not back and ultrasound in waiting. (nov 19) Im not pregnant according to test at well women exam. So she put me on provera for the first time since last Nov. 09 to flush me out. Well I have gone through a pad an hour for about 2 weeks now. I just want to know if anyone else has ever experienced any of this and what they did about it. I also would like to add that I was bulemic at 15-16yrs old getting down to 115 at 5'9" but since I have reached 256lbs. I also had lumbar fusion at 30 so back pain is alot of weight gain issues along with Pcos, stress and depression. I also would like to know if anyone has had any luck getting pregnant after these issues? Ive been trying since I was a teen and I've never been able to get pregnant.
