Thread: The baby is near to give birth! Woot and confuse

Hello peeps and ladies. My wife is at 39 weeks. Her due date is on the 11/15/10 of this year. The first time we went for check up in February 08, 2010 was her last lmp. Her ekg was 5 weeks. So I want to know how do you know when there is a sign that she wants go into labor. I heard my mom says her feet has to be big in order to give birth is that true. I never heard of this. I wonder if my baby will be early or delay. Also my mom told me that after the baby is born he or she can not shower for one full week. Because of the belly button. She also told me that we can use alcohol to clean it. Haha by the way my mom is town to help me get through the pregnancy.

When it is time to go to the labor? I heard that we can use shots for pain. What kind of shots? Also when the baby comes out of the vagina will it be nasty. I haven't seen it before.

About my baby's penis I want to know if it is safe to cut the foreskin. Because the midwife told me it might be dangerous. I have also as around the other poeple that has already give birth they say their baby turn out fine. Thanks I hope to have a great weekend.
