I think that teens shouldn't be having babies, for good reason. Teens do not have the sort of life experience that they need to be able to responsibly take care of themselves, let alone another little life. By responsibility and experience, I mean living out on your own, paying bills and rent, buying groceries and all of that day to day stuff. They also aren't financially ready to have a child, most teens only have part time jobs usually a minimal wage jobs which gives them pocket money to spend with their friends but it's not enough to support a child. Also mentally and emotionally they aren't ready, teens are still very self centered and their world is school and what they are going to do with their friends on the weekend, mentally and emotionally it's a lot to deal with, more than what a teen can handle. It's a huge strain on your mind and what your body is going through, in your life, i.e the baby's father who usually won't stick around, fighting with family members etc. Emotionally your hormones are all over the place and the changes your body is going through is a lot to deal with itself let alone everything else going on.
I am 28 years old, with NO children and I have been living with my fiancee for going on five years. We don't have children because we aren't mentally, emotionally and no where near financially ready.
