I don't want to get on a soapbox here and redirect the thread away from hockey's friends problem. I do agree with you that they need to find adults to speak with, preferably the girl's parents.

However, I *MUST* say that abortion could very well be the answer for that young girl's family. They need to have an open, compassionate discussion about what the impact of this pregnancy will have on her emotionally and physically, both during and after the pregnancy and decide if, for her wellbeing and health, carrying a child to term or terminating the pregnancy would be the best course of action.
