So I believe I had what I think to be implantation bleeding, I went to the bathroom and a little gelly like glob of mucus with a streak of red blood in it came out. (I have never seen it before, so I squished it with some toliet paper, and it came out like cervical mucus with a tiny bit of pink to it).

That happened last friday, on the 21st. So starting about sunday night, I started having this urge to throw up, have yet to, but been feeling like I could. I was over with my fiances' family eating some dinner and I went over feeling fine, then while they were cooking the food, I started feeling the need to run to the bathroom to throw up, like I said I have yet to throw up yet, but I have had the feeling of it, where I get light headed, hot flushed, and that nasty taste in my mouth.

Then yesterday, I had the day off of work and my fiance and I spent the day shopping, which usually I can go forever, but after about four hours, found myself falling asleep in the car haha. But we went out got some breakfast, and then a little time after I ate, I felt that same urge to throw up again. Plus driving in the car, it did not make it feel any better.

Then we went to one of my favorite stores, always has lots of incense and candles out, and usually I love all the unique smells, and this time I found myself running to the bathroom the whole thirty minutes we were there.

I thought this was what morning sickness is, but was wondering when am I able to actually test accurately? I took a negative hpt this morning, but I think it is too soon to show up. But Ive never felt like this before and I was wondering if it could be, should I call my obgyn and ask for a blood test?

Last month my period came way early and lasted for about two weeks so I was having some issues already so now I do not know exactly when my period will come, but I figured it should be here by friday, if not it will for sure be late, I always get it towards the end of the month.

So should I test again on friday or should I test sometime next week?

Any ideas would be amazingly helpful, thank you so much.

Your body starts producing the pregnancy hormone within 2 weeks of fertilization. A healthy luteal phase (from the time you ovulate to the time you begin your period) is usually 12-16 days. Do you know when you ovulated? Do not make the common mistake and assume it was 14 days after your last period. All women are different and can vary month to month. This month, I ovulated on Day 27 of my cycle. I'm now on day 37 and haven't started........but since a healthy luteal phase is 12-16 from ovulation, I am not concerned at this point with being pregnant. I'm just having an usually long cycle for me.

If you are TRYING to get pregnant, I highly recomment reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler and begin charting as soon as you start your next period. Get yourself a basal thermometer. This will really put you in tune with what's going on with your body.
