I am sorry to hear you have taken Depo Provera. The side effects of Depo are known to be VERY long lasting. I too was on Depo Provera, but for 5 years. I did tons of research on Depo about it's side effects and it was all a bit frightening. I am glad that you stopped. I would not recommend that you EVER take it again. Try something else. Anyway, Depo Provera is supposed to take up to 1 year to leave your system. However, there are many other women on the Internet that have been trying for several years after Depo with no success. A lot of them are claiming it took 2 to 3 years to get pg. I know that I did not have a regular period after Depo for 3 to 4 years after. However, since you didn't take it for long, hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones and get what you want sooner. Do not be suprised though if nothing happens for another 9 months. It says right on the label that it does not leave your system for 1 year.
Also, in case you are not aware, you can have your menstrual cycle (bleed) and not be ovulating (able to get pregnant). Depo causes a lack of progesterone in your body which prevents ovulation. A lot of women do not know that they can be on their period, but not actually ovulating. If you think this might be the case, you can be tested for ovulation. If your progesterone is low, then there are natural progesterone creams that you can try to help start ovulation again, but that's about the only option. Only use the progesterone cream if you have had your progesterone levels checked!
I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
