I've been here before with symptoms quite different than what I'm experiencing now. My last period was January 22 and ended on the 29th. I am now past my period or what I believe would be my period, which should have been due February 20-22. So I'm considering myself late. But before my last period I was 45 days late and before that I was having them on a monthly basis (pretty much since before I had the IUD put in they were regular). So i'm a bit worried since i'm late AGAIN.

I had the copper IUD fitted November 19th, so march 19th will be 4 months of having it. Anyway, I feel for the strings and they are there. Nothing in that dept. has changed. But I have been experiencing sudden very sore nipples; it started about a few days ago. I have had sex with my partner several times (I record all the days we have sex).

I took a PG test today (as I'm already 10 days late) and it came back negative. I'm not really feeling any different than I usually do. I have been sick with flu symptoms and a head cold that refuses to go away this past week, so i've had a fever off and on that makes me tired & weak with body aches.

I'm not nauseated, not eating anymore (I just started working out at the gym Feb 10th and have changed my eating habits) I am however extremely bloated (which I was last time before my period) and have had some excrutiating pain down by my left ovary that shoots into my thigh.

Anyway, to make this short..I've got extremely sore nipples, they hurt so much it aches when my shirt rubs against it, however my breasts are not tender nor full. It's just the nipples....

Ok I said too much...has anyone else had sore nipples with an iud?
