I just posted one in a wrong place, then find here is the right one.

I had a miscarriage and had a D&C. now it is two months, but my period is still not coming yet. I am really worrying that is something wrong with the operation or me?
My GP just let me wait!!!!!!! Is it a good or bad idea? God. How long I still need to wait?
Anyone has this kind of situation? thanks.

Default 10 weeks no period of miscarriage

Hi, this is my first time here so hopefuly i am doing this right.

I also had a miscarriage in March, i decided not to have a d&c and instead waited for it to happen naturally. I am still waiting for my period its been just over 10 weeks now. I spoke to the miscarriage association who said i shouldn't worry and there is nothing i can do, they also said that my doctor would tell me to sit it out and wait also.
I know how you feel, in complete limbo!!

    Post Hello

When I had my misscarriage, I opted not to have a D&C also. I read up on what would happen afterwards, when would I get a period. After having a miscarriage, you still have some of the pregnancy hormone in your body for up to two months, or depending on how long you were pregnant. Dont worry about it, it will come once that pregnancy hormone leaves your body.

    Default Anticipation!

    Congrats LouLou1981 -
I, too, am on pins and needles waiting for my period to return after miscarrying in April. I had two D&C's done, one week apart. I'm on week #9 now, and have had all PMS symptoms except for sore b's which is usually my first indication that I'm going to be getting it. I went for an ultrasound and was told I had a ruptured ovarian cyst which could have been causing me cramps, but that I still had to be patient. Easier said than done. We're anxious to try again, but not until I know that my system is back on track. It's been a long haul....but I'm encouraged having read this thread that there are others in my same boat!

Fingers crossed for both of you, i agree that is has helped a lot knowing that you aren't the only one out there, its so amazing that something so horrid can turn into some thing that makes you feel so good knowing others have been through it too, its helped me loads in moving forward.
Good Luck to you all and hope for the furture x
