I had a light brown discharge too, when i mentioned it to my doctor she said it was normal. Now since your test is positive you should go see your doctor asap so they will be able to determine how far along are you by a blood test and to see if the pregnancy is a healthy one. goodluck!

yea know, my last period never came- i took a test like 2 days after it was suppose to come and it came out neg. so i figured it was bc i started working out- but after reading this, i too had some light brown discharge about 10 days after my missed period. i am on the pill but i mess up a lot and forget to take it some days and then end up being a day behind with my pill- do you think i should take another test now to see what it may say or wait for like 2 more weeks to see if i get my period this month?

If you just started Working out that could be the cause too that your period is late. I think a week after your miss period a home pregnancy test should be able to detect if you are pregnant or not. Try taking another one and see what happens. I was expecting my period the end of march and when i went to the doctor around that same time thats when they found out i was pregnant. goodluck and let us know!

yea im leaning more towards the working out thing bc my boobs dont look any different (they are always sore-so can't go by that) and i always have mood swings! annnddd im always tired...3 big signs of pregnancy and i have then 24/7! just my luck right? i am also always emotional too, but the only thing that would concern me would be the fact that since being on the pill i had never not gotten my period- i didnt even have symptoms of a period this time and when i had the light brown discharge i thought it would stick around for a few days bc that's usually what happens if i do have it- and it last for maybe a total of 24 hours and would be clear when i went to the bathroom.

i guess the only sure way to know anything is by taking a test- the only reason i took a test the first time was to make sure i wasnt pregnant so that i could continue with my pill- im always worried that ill be taking the pill while im pregnant and i dont know what harm it would cause the baby.

Before i got pregnant i was always paranoid that i was, every month i would think im having signs of pregnancy when i was not even pregnant, my husband and i started trying in dec 2006 and in march i scheduled a preconception consultation to talk to the doc more about concieving. at that time i was expecting my period to come any day i had sore boobs mild cramps just like i would usually have before my period. That same day they did a urine test and thats when i found out im pregnant! I didnt have any clue! So sometimes you may not know it. When i got the discharge i was probably about 4 weeks pregnant, doc said that happenes during early pregnancy. Take another test and see what happenes.

I am pregnant....I went to the local health dept. and had it confirmed...I am due Feb 3 or 4th =) Thank you for all your responses...
