Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie on here and was reading around the pregnancy forum and noticed no one had mentioned anything about actually planning for a pregnancy.
my husband and i had some difficulties trying to get pregnant at first. i assumed this was because i had been on hormonal bc pills for years before and my body needed time to readjust to my normal cycle. then it got up to more than a few months so i started to get a bit worried that i wouldn't actually be able to get pregnant.
i did some research online and discovered fertility awareness and how women monitored their own fertility in order to pinpoint the best days when sex had the best chance of leading to pregnancy. i decided to give it a go, with the help of a fertility monitor called cyclotest baby (manually taking my temperature seemed a bit difficult to keep up with). i bought the monitor from a website because it seemed like one of the cheapest and best ones available on the market.
anyways, to make a long story even longer, i got pregnant after just a few weeks of using cyclotest baby!!! i really think i might have just been having sex on the wrong days of my cycle and that was the reason i didn't get pregnant sooner. so, if you're trying to conceive, i really recommend using cyclotest baby to help you out!
good luck ladies!![]()

My husband said something about you're supposed to go three days without sex and then have sex at some specific point in your cycle. Well I fell pregnant on the second try when we did it that way. Worked like a charm. Timing is everything aparently lol.
