Thread: Right time?

I am 18 yrs old and i have a boyfriend (19) we want to start a family. But we dont have a house,we don't live together, we have only part time crappy jobs so not a lot of money. We want to have kids and get married but i know right now isn't the best time but i dont wanna wait to long. I know what its like to look after a baby from about 10-11 months old and i love watching tv shows, movies/ docs about how to care for your baby/ies. I currently live with a 4 yr old that has learning disabilities (she is about 12 months behind a normal 4yr).
when would be the best time to start my/ our family? we are thinking of moving into our own house by september. And hopefully have a fulltime job by than.

There's never really a "right time" to start a family. When you both are financially stable and are living on your own, you'll know when the time is right. Right now you're really young and I know from personal experience that's probably not what you want to hear. I had my first child at 19 and struggled tremendously. I had my second son at age 21. It's really hard financially. Just make sure you're prepared.
