Okay, so here is my story.

My husband and I had unprotected sex three times and he "came" three times. The next day, I took Next Choice, but I took the second pill late. I believe it was about 18 hours later? Could be more but within 24 hours.

I got my period 4/25 and ended 5/1. Usually my period lasts for 7 days. I usually get light brown discharge before and after my period but they both were only one day. Those were usually 2-4 days each before my period starts. So brown discharge before and after period + the period was days. Actual period 4 days.

I just finished my period and the day before my period ended I started getting abdominal pain and chest pain (like heartburn) and the feeling of throwing up. My husband believes that I'm pregnant but I'm telling him that I'm not cause I just got my period. But now that I'm having the abdominal pain, heartburn-like pain, and nauseated, I'm not sure.

Could anyone possible help me with this one. I'm not ready for a child right now. I'm still a student in college and I wanna put my studies first before having a child.

I don't wanna get a pregnancy test, cause I think it's too early. But I need your advice. Thank you in advance.

Though first response is to say you're not pregnant since you had your period, SOME women continue to have a "period" throughout their pregnancies. Take an HPT to be sure. And if you're not, and you're really not ready for a child.....look into your options for protection. Next Choice (which I'm assuming is the morning after pill) is known to cause some side effects: cramping, bleeding, etc. Your side effects could be resulting from this. It's not meant to be used as birth control. Take care of your body...ya only have 1!

    "Be what you're looking for."

"The next time you're thinking of kicking someone when they're down, offer them your hand and help them back up instead."
