Default any way of this happening?

I've been curious about this actually.

My husband doesn't want me to take birth controls and I kinda don't want to because I'm scared of going through problems that it may cause to my body and we both hate condoms (we still use it cause we have no other choice)

Since we cannot always rely on the ecp

Is it possible of having intercourse without getting pregnant even if he "comes" inside you? Cause I believe that's possible, but how do you find out when you do that?

Thank you in advance for those who answers this question

Unfortunately the "it will not happen to me even if he cums inside" crowd that believed this was possible are now parents. With zero form of birth control you are letting biology work its magic the way nature intended things, and you cannot stop pregnancy by hoping that there is the chance of not getting pregnant. It is possible to not get pregnant, I mean not everytime you have sex means you will get pregnant anyway so in that sense it is possible to have him cum inside you and not get pregnant, however those odds are not in your favor compared to birth control methods. Even using a condom, though annoying I do agree, will greatly decrease the odds of you becoming pregnant. At the very least keep using condoms, there are other birth control methods that are not pills. You can consult with your doctor for the variety of options.

You can lessen your chances of getting pregnant by the proper timing of when you have sex, but it will not be anywhere as good as most other methods. You can take the ideas used in conception and run them for the opposite result. You will get rid of a lot of spontaneity, but if you are OK with that you could get so-so results.

Start by Googling [calendar based contraceptive methods]. Look at the wiki entry. Add in knowledge about basal body temperature. Add in knowledge of how long sperm can survive in the uterus (5 days, but some say longer). Make sure you do the math and measurements correctly. Expect some mistakes and anomalies. Be willing to deal with those mistakes and anomalies.

He could have a vasectomy. I believe they are sometimes reversible.

it is possible that you won't fall pregnant even if he does come inside you but its more likely that you WILL fall pregnant. there are non-hormonal based contraceptives like the IUD that work just fine without screwing with your natural biology. That's what I plan to use when I have my baby as I have had a few problems with contraceptives. The implanon was great for me the first time but the second time was just awful. So really you just gotta find which contraceptive is right for you. If you never plan to have kids suggest that your man gets a visectomy. I would.

Sorry to be pedantic but this isn't true. The chance of pregnancy is like what, 30% within a year of not using birth control? 37%? I don't recall the precise figure. Also the chance of falling pregnant during a non-fertile period (about 3 out of the 4 weeks of each month) is almost non-existent. It's just that it's not always easy to measure when exactly a person is fertile, and also how long a particular set of sperm will survive inside a particular body.

However belinda I agree with the point behind your post, that not using any form of planning or birth control eventually will almost guarantee you a baby!

if you have taken the ecp why not go on birth control? its essentially the same thing - only the ecp is very bad for you in the long run

I have heard of that number as well but it is based on the average of those who had sex, how often, and if they became pregnant making it only a general assumption as there is zero way to predict whether or not a woman will fall in the above or below crowd of 30 or 37%. But when you think about it even 30% is high. Based on 10 times you have sex, 3 of those times can end in pregnancy based on the 30% stat. If you have sex once a day, that is having the chance of being pregnant at least twice a week. So at least twice a week you are terrified. If you have sex twice a week that would end up being possibly pregnant twice a month. So at least twice a month you are going to be worried. Or have 0.1 - 2% failure rate with birth control, meaning anywhere between 98 - 999.9 times you have sex you could be pregnant solely based on birth control failure.

I agree with you ItsASecret, which is why I commented I was being pedantic, heh! I just think saying that it's MORE likely for you to become pregnant sends the wrong message as it's just not true. Even being terrified 2 days out of 7... You're still more likely to NOT become pregnant.

I think lots of times the definition of words "more" and "less" are ignored when talking about pregnancy.

I agree with everyone's points of course.
