Thread: It's a girl!

Hi there everyone,
I just thought I'd let you all know that me and my husband are having a girl! We found out when we were at King Edward Memorial Hospital (which is a pregnancy/baby specialist hospital) when I started having contractions at 30 weeks. Technically they aren't supposed to look at the sex of the baby, only because it's not in the job description but the ladies were really nice and took a peek for us. Lo and Behold! We are going to have a girl. My husband wanted a boy but he's not the least bit fussed about having a girl. He even indulges me when I buy pink frilly dresses and remarks on how cute they are. I am thrilled. I never really minded but knowing that it's a girl makes it all seem so much more real to me. We're calling her Isobel June. Isobel is after my husbands mothers grandmother and June is after my beloved Nanny.
Oh yeah I'm almost 32 weeks now and if these contractions I'm having this very moment don't calm down I might end up giving birth soon lol.
