Ok. I've been more than a little worried. I had unprotected sex more than a month ago. I was 5 days overdue for my next Depo shot so to be on the safe side, I took emergency contraception the next day. I had been bleeding off and on since March 1 and kept bleeding a few days after I had sex, so that would have been the end of the second week of April.

I decided not to go back on the Depo because I didn't like the side effects, but now my period is MIA. I took a pregnancy test last Tuesday and the Tuesday before that and both tests were negative. However, my period is still MIA. And now my right breast is sore off and on and sometimes I get stabbing/shooting pains in my left one.

Also, I had sex about three weeks ago but it was protected. (We used a condom and it didn't break or slip off.)

I feel like I shouldn't be so worried and so filled with anxiety but not having my period has me freaked out.

But if I took a test that was 11 days after I had protected sex and a month after I had unprotected sex (and used EC), and followed the directions to the 'T', then I should trust the results, right? But what else would explain not having my period and having the soreness problem?

Please advise if you can, anyone. And thank you.

    Default Can someone please help?

I'm scared that I haven't had my period since the second week of April. I'm scared about the soreness in my right breast.

The MAP is a very high dose of hormones and it may be a while before your body recovers. Coming off the Depo can take time as well, You've gotten the double whammy, calm down and give your body time. Once you have regular periods established go into the clinic and see about a non hormonal conception control.
