Realistically, some tubals aren't done correctly and can result in accidental pregnancies. I don't know how common this is, but I'd say it's not very common. So is it possible you're pregnant? Yes. But most likely you aren't. However, you could guy yourself a cheap HPT just to ease your mind.

i also remember getting my tubes clamped and not tied. I remember the doc told me im to young to have my tubes cut and tied and burnt and he would just put a clamp on. Does that make any diference?

I feel your worry!!! I'm there with you. It IS possible to get pregnant after a tubal is done -- it pretty much comes down to tubal regeneration. It's not always the fault of the surgeon who performs it, but the chances of it happening at all are supposedly slim (1-3%).

I also understand that about 50% of failed tubal ligation pregnancies are ectopic, which is the point I'm stuck at and not sure what to look for. The cauterization would have done a better job of being permanent, but the possibility is still there that regrowth can occur. If you want some websites, I have three hours worth of bookmarks I decided to keep when I couldn't sleep last night. Let me know and I'll get them from work tomorrow.
