Hmm this will be tricky for you, because with the implant in my arm, my periods stopped. But I had a light one in February, which was the first one I'd had in over a year or so.
So I actually wasn't even due my period, it just came.
But If I was to have got a next one going by a 28 day cycle, it would have been roughly 20-21 days.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that minor detail. LOL! So you're saying, that IF you were going to have your period "on time" that month, it would've been 20-21 days AFTER the baby making incident? Or are you saying you were on day 20-21 of your cycle when you did the baby making? I guess the better way to ask is, are you saying you were only off your period for 4 days when you conceived?

    Boy....Don't call him Charles

But your eating says a girl haha...

I would not stress about wanting more food, just don't make it all junk food and you'll be fine...

I am getting excited, it just seems like yesterday and it's already half way....

Hmm yeah it's confusing, but yes I would have been on between day 4-6 after my period that I concieved. And should have been due the next one in 20-21 days.

I really don't know what I'm having, not even a gut feeling of whether it will be a boy or girl. Either way I'll be happy anyway

Yeah CW, once it's healthy foods, what harm could be done?

I was thinking the same, it only feels like last week I found out, and now I actually am nearly half way's there. I thought the pregnancy would seem like forever but so far the time, has just flew by. But time flies when you're having fun I guess

I thought I was hungry when I was pregnant, but boy howdy, once my milk came in, it was like two extra stomachs on my chest. I deal(t) with it by eating a lot :P Keep snacks on your person, make them as healthy as you can.
On cravings - when I hit the last 10 weeks, I was drinking milk like they were going to outlaw it. I feel like you should give into your cravings as much as you can, as long as they're healthy (and even the unhealthy ones, give in a little - you'll feel better!)
Congratulations on being so far along. You're in the honeymoon phase of pregnancy Enjoy it while it lasts!

It's so hard not to give in. But I when I do eat extra, I do make sure it's healthy. I suppose it's okay to give in to the un-healthy ones, now and again, but not every time.

Honey moon phase? I'll take that as the easy part, lol Thank you.

Be careful. Be sure to give your body what it needs, make sure you are eating things high in nutritional values and not anything junkfood'y. A lot of times cravings are based on a need for specific nutrients to make sure you are eating a well-balanced diet. I say be careful because you have been encountering new stresses lately and turning to food is common for a lot of people in stressful situations. You also may have changed your lifestyle, no partying etc.. and boredom can lend itself to bouts of eating for no reason as well.

I say be careful because its just too easy to excuse poor eating and chalk it up to well its baby weight, eating for two and it will all come off with the baby... etc. For a healthy pregnancy and delivery you want to be in good condition. I gained SOOOO much weight with my pregnancy... 1. I was stressed, 2. I moved back home with my folks and was bored all the time 3. I felt like I deserved to eat whatever I wanted.

I gained 4x more than what would have been healthy for me, making my later months of pregnancy miserable and my labor difficult. And... surprise surpise... when my baby was born all that weight didn't fly off of me... instead I packed on more, focusing so much on my baby and not having time for exercise or caring what I ate.

Eating healthy now will give your baby the best start from within, the healthy eating habits you have, you pass on to your baby as they move on from breastmilk/formula to food etc...

I am not saying diet... or be overcautious of what you eat... I'm saying be sure to talk to your doctor about what you should be eating and how much so that you stay healthy during this awesome experience
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

I'm making my guess based on the "chance" that resulted in you getting pregnant. You were on BC so shouldn't have been able to get pregnant. Weren't regularly sexually active...all it took was once. And on top of that, you were 4-6 days after your last period which means your cycle was bonkers.

It has been said by some fertility specialists that conceiving a girl is more difficult than conceiving a boy. The timing has to be "just right" because the window of time to conceive a boy is longer than for a girl.

For all these reasons.............. I'm guessing that you are going to have a GIRL!!

    Haha...I really have no idea.

So there's one guess for a boy and one for a girl.

Most of my family and friends think it will be a boy. I still have no idea, but I will be finding out very very soon

I never knew that about it being more difficult to conceive a girl.
But they say sperm can live for up to seven 7 days, so it could have been any time during the week after the one night stand that I conceived, so that could change things too?
