Okay so I know this is an odd question, but I was wondering if a woman is ovulating and then dies and a guy has sex with her right after she dies and ejaculates inside of her, is it possible for the sperm to attatch to the egg? I know that the embryo wouldn't survive, but is that possible? Thank you! Nemo

I guess you are wondering "given you are 15 and in love" if you were to die and your boyfriend quickly tried to make love to you "in ovulation" would he at least be able to have "created" a little of something even though obviously nothing could eventuate
I agree with BD, I don't think a body that no longer functions can honestly attach anything to an egg...

It is very Important to understand just how " babies " are made.
Notice that most are done/taught by the parents now teachers, now friends and other family members and sometimes by the local or State or Federal Government..
And I am not a Parent to you personally. But even if you pass on while having sex, Your body stops. Your Heart stops, your internal Fluids STOP, !
Support Stops of the Embryo.
Therefore you can no longer Harbor or Contain a living being, without having Artificial means.
Enhancing that thought, Yes we have invert o and " Test Tube " babies and clones.
But then again,those have to be taken or donated or even frozen, to ensure DNA.
Again we all need a warm environment to survive in Until we are unleashed from our " Cocoon ".
If the cells of the body are dead there is no hospitable environment for an egg and therefore no conception. It is possible for the egg to be fertilized by a sperm cell and then that woman dies say minutes after for whatever reason. That egg will still not survive though since the woman will be dead.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
