How many do you know of that conceived on the pill?
I want to know what the possiblity is of becoming pregnant on the pill. I take it every day at almost the same time. Within 2 hours, but mostly within 15 minutes after 24 hours. I'm paranoid. I'd rather not get pregnant until we are ready to embrace the new life
How many do you know of that conceived on the pill?
The birth control pill is about 98-99.9% effective if taken EXACTLY as directed. No missing pills, no skipping, no "I want to stop taking it this month then start again next month", no sporadic times taking it. If you change the times you take it often, or miss many pills, then the protection level does drop significantly. If you take the pill the same time every day then the pill is going to be doing it's job and keeping you extremely safe. That is not to say that there is no possible error, it is still possible to become pregnant while on the pill however that chance is very very low when taken exactly as directed.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
ItsASecret is precisely right. However if you are "paranoid" then why not couple birth control with condoms? Better than worrying about it, and plus you'd have the added protection against stds.![]()
