    Hello everyone!

My boyfriend and I got a bit overexcited the weekend of July 17th and had unprotected sex. I took Plan B about 7 hours after the event and had a period the week of July 24th. I have not had sex since then, which is a lovely consequence of attending grad school several states away from my boyfriend.

Jumping to the present, I have noticed my breasts have been sore and tender for the past 2 weeks or so. I have not have a period since July 24th, but that is not abnormal for me. My periods tend to be extremely irregular. In fact, prior to taking Plan B, I had not had a period in at least 4 months. I assumed the period I had the week of July 24th was due to Plan B.

I just have a nagging feeling in my gut about being pregnant since I have irregular periods and cannot use that as an indicator. I took two pregnancy tests today, both of which yielded a negative result. So, should I be in the clear?

    Thanks for your time!

Yes, you should be in the clear. More than likely everything you are feeling is a result of Plan B and everything else you have going on.

You've taken two pregnancy tests, so that should tell you, you are not pregnant.

    Ditto what Lana said.

    Not pregnant.

Sore boobs, cramps, sometimes spotting and bloating are all side effects some experience from Plan B. Matter of fact, pretty much anyone I've heard say they've taken it experienced sore boobs during the month after.

No worries. Just don't rely on it as a method of bc. Tell him, no glove, no love. haha
