I am just wondering if anybody else experienced this...I had brownish red discharge today. It lasted an hour and then stopped. No cramps at all. I am about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant.

    I am real worried.

This is pretty normal, especially if it is just spotty like it seems.

However, there is no sense in being overly worried. Call your OB and at least speak to a nurse to ease your mind if necessary.

That, or even spotting and slight bleeding is normal in early pregnancy, but I'd still check with my doctor every time. I got pregnant at the beginning of the year, and found out at 5 weeks. I ended up miscarrying 5 days after finding out, and that's even with the day I started spotting going to a hospital (Who were incompetent and did nothing for me).

I will call my dr tomorrow to speak to him. Maybe I will lay off on sex for awhile as well, I do not have it often but still it cant hurt to be safe right now. I do not even feel like having sex half the time anyways. I get cramps as well but not to bad, just mild ones.
