I woke up at 2 AM with the tummy bug, I've been throwing every SIP of water up for the past 12 hours, I can't eat. Or take my prenatal. I'm not running a temp, and Im having very watery poop. It's like my body is violently getting rid of everything in my tummy. My head hurts and I can't keep any medicine down my whole body hurts. It so bad I'm throwing up the SIP of water I just took before I can move the bottle from my lips. Mom and grandma want me to call and see my doctor but I see them tomorrow and my husband has the car. What should I do?? Should I go to the hospital when he gets home at 5?
Or is it fine as long as I don't run a temp. How can I trick my body into holding down my water?
I'm I making my baby sick?

If you can't keep any water down, you definitely run the risk of becoming dehydrated. And the diarrhea will increase those chances. I would suggest at the very least just calling your doctor and getting some advice straight from them. If they want you to come in, is there a way you could find someone to take you, like your mom or grandma, or a friend?

No I don't no anyone here I would have to wait till my husband got home.
I'm drinking water, but throwing it all up. Does it at least help that I'm drinking it?
I think I will call them and see what they say. Thank you for your reply.

It does help to keep trying to drink, although if you don't keep it down for long, your body won't have a chance to absorb it. Your doctor will be able to tell you more of course. I wish you luck and good health

Food poisoning? Definately call your doctor.

It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~

I would definatley get ahold of your doctor. How far along are you in your pregnancy? If your still early and it's morning sickness ask your doctor about vitamin B6 and Unisom. I don't want to scare but out of stubborness and not wanting to take pills during my (1st) pregnancy I waited a week before I went to the doctor and I had severe Morning Sickness, I couldnt hold down water either and I had lost 10lbs within that week! My doc prescribed Zofran. That was like a miracle pill! Don't be discouaged if it's expensive and your insurance wont pay for it because they do have genaric brands as well. Good luck Darling and keep us updated!

I'm so upset! My doctor finally called me back and had wrote me a prescription for serpositorys? I can't spell that right... But my husband isn't going to he home in time to go get it, and they said I had to pick it up in the office.
On the bright side I havnt thrown up in the past few hours, and I managed to keep down an Orange fruit cup. my whole body aches and I never went over 99.1
I'm 25 weeks I know its not morning sickness, and I tried to take the medicine they gave me for that but I threw it up. I feel horrible, and I wish I could eat something for my baby, but its all I fan do to keep liquid down.
My appt is tomorrow morning I hope ill be well enough to drive. I wish my husband or dad was here to take care of me
