Thread: Not really sure - TTC and period concerns?

I'm not really sure where I should be posting this, but my husband and I have been TTC since April of 2010. We have been trying to be relaxed about it, and haven't gone into a flurry of buying up anything we see that promises that double line, but I can't help but feel discouraged. I got an ovulation kit and started tracking my cycles, but nothing seems to happen.

I don't really know who to talk to about my cycles and such since when I brought up TTC to my OBGYN she kind of shrugged me off saying that as long as I had a period, everything would be fine, and made me an appointment with a fertility class without answering any of my main health concerns.

I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong place, we just don't want to tell any family members (they make hurtful comments without realizing it now, and it's tough to gauge how they'd react) and I don't really know who to talk to about it.

If your medical professional will not listen to your concerns and answer your questions - find another one who will.
