OK, I don't know if that's gonna be any help but I got my first one while I was pregnant with my first child 17 years ago. It didn't hurt or itch, so I didn't pay much attention. Besides it's not something I'd go to the doctors for unless it's unberable, if you see what I mean.
Well, 17 years later and another pregnancy after, I did go to the doctor, as they never disappeared (a lot of women get them during pregnancy). I don't know what upset them but they started itching so much I couldn't stand it. The doctor adviced me to keep the area cleen and dry, and don't use soap when washing. Prescribed an ointment with antibiotics to help the swelling and the itch.
If they are small, and they don't bother you - leave them there. If they get bigger - you'll need to see a doctor. There are 2 types of procedures that they do, the most invasive being a surgery.
Hope that helps.
