    Unhappy Hemorrhoid

Ok so I have a hemorrhoid. I have known about it for maybe 2 or 3 weeks now. Has not gotten better. I have been using Tucks ointment and baby wipes.
It never hurt or itched in the first place though.
It is an outside bump so I figured it was external.
It doesn't hurt. Sometimes It will itch if im dry but on a regular basis, no.
How do I get it to go away? the bump is roughly the size of a pointer finger nail.
    Any help?

OK, I don't know if that's gonna be any help but I got my first one while I was pregnant with my first child 17 years ago. It didn't hurt or itch, so I didn't pay much attention. Besides it's not something I'd go to the doctors for unless it's unberable, if you see what I mean.

Well, 17 years later and another pregnancy after, I did go to the doctor, as they never disappeared (a lot of women get them during pregnancy). I don't know what upset them but they started itching so much I couldn't stand it. The doctor adviced me to keep the area cleen and dry, and don't use soap when washing. Prescribed an ointment with antibiotics to help the swelling and the itch.

If they are small, and they don't bother you - leave them there. If they get bigger - you'll need to see a doctor. There are 2 types of procedures that they do, the most invasive being a surgery.

    Hope that helps.

    I agree with Anelim!

If it isnt bothersome, leave it be. The surgery sucks, and you cannot sit for a week straight.

Try Preperation H...but get the suppository kind. That may help out a bit.

I'm pregnant and just got my first hemorroid
It doesn't bother me either, I noticed it bc I could feel a pressure and a tingle. I got preperation h cream and the preperation h wipes. The wipes have witch hazel in it and I use them when I go number 2. I also found that folding the wipe and putting it on the bump and letting it sit for about 5 minutes really helps. Mine went away, then came back but smaller. Straining on the toilet is what brought mine back. So when I get it I take a colace tablet to help use the restroom.
I havnt tried the suppository, but I do put the cream on the bump and just on the inside I do this after I go number 2.
Hope this helps, im trying to figure it out along the way.
