Congratulations. A lot of chemicals are running through your body helping to make you emotional. Good luck.
So, it has happened.
I went off Depo with the intention of getting pregnant back in June and based on my research I was going to take 6 months to a year, and it looked more like a year. Well, in December, I got a period for the first time since I started Depo and knew it was a good sign. I felt like it meant I was practically pregnant already. I even purchased a 2-pack of pregnancy tests.
Well, by the time my next period would have been due, it never showed and I decided to wait until this Saturday, then take a test. Well, a couple days ago my boobs were starting to get really sore. It persisted, so yesterday morning I decided to try one of my pee sticks and see what it had to say. 2-3 minutes later: 2 lines for pregnant!
So now I'm going through all this crazy emotional stuff. My boyfriend wants to wait before we tell anyone (for a variety of reasons that if I got into them this post would be really really long) so aside from from me and my boyfriend you guys are the first to know! I'm pretty much ready to burst with all the stuff to talk about, and I thought of you guys!

I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
