So my morning sickness is basically nausea that lasts all day, on and off. Today I actually threw up though, all of my breakfast at that. I just found out I was pregnant yesterday and going to find out my due date and all that today. It's a little crazy and unexpected.

My question was, is there any way to ease morning sickness or make yourself less nauseous? Please say yes!!! haha.

Morning sickness! Those 2 words still makes me cringe, im 25 weeks pregnant and just this morning i had it. I had it at my worst during the first 3 months and it lingered away somewhere during the 4th month. It is not an easy thing to deal with, i had it so bad. The most common things that are said to be done to help with morning sickness are, have crackers at your bedside so you can eat a few before you actually get out of bed since having an empty stomach makes morning sickness worst, those candies they sell at motherhood and babies store is said to help, ginger etc.
In my case none of those helped. I remember one morning i woke up feeling so queasy and i got myself 2 cracker, well as soon as i ate those 2 crackers it came right back out. I think you have to try out foods and drinks yourself and see which one works for you, i found that coke or pepsi worked for me at most times, but, nothing stopped my morning sickness. Be sure to intake lots of fluids of you are vomiting alot. You may also lose weight, a few pounds is normal. Dont worry, it will subside soon.

    Congrats to you!
My doctor always told me having morning sickness is a good sign, it means the baby is doing fine. The baby produces this hormone that cause the morning sickness which is a good thing. A recent study shows that women who had morning sickness have a less chance of developing breast cancer. Just think about in a few months in will be all over!

Thanks!! I've received a lot of great advice. I've found that eating crackers, drinking Sprite and eating apples a couple times a day almost eliminates morning sickness. And I've discovered what not to eat. English muffins and pickles so far.
