    Unhappy stretch marks during pregnancy

I know most women dread this as well as me. Ive started to get stretch marks, at first they seem clear and not quite visible now im getting more and its making me really depressed. I knew from the beginning that it was possible to get them. I have been using the cocoa butter for pregnancy but that doesnt seem to be helping except for the itching. Ive seen my friends stomach after her baby as well as my husband's aunt, they were both really bad. I know there is probably nothing i can do to stop this from happening, its just hard to deal with at this moment. I still have a lot of stretching to do im almost on my 7th month and i know most of the growing happens in the last trimester. I do try to drink alot of water and i walk on my treadmill also. I wish there was a way to prevent this from happening.

try using viatmen E pills, you dont need to ingest them, just break open the gel capsules and rub it on. i know whenever i become prego i will have the same problem, i have stretch marks from when my hips grew. once you have the baby and the doc gives you the okay to work out, do it because tighting your skin helps make the stretch marks less visable.

    Red face The inevitable

Stretch marks are inevitable. They cannot be avoided.. You can put lotion on them to make them lighter and ease the itching but if its in the stars that you are going to get them then you are. I am unfortunatly not one of the luckier ones who got stretch marks from .. my dad used to tell me that my stomach looked like a road map. Now Im pregnant again and oveweight so I am scare that I am going to get even MORE stretch marks.. BUt its okay. They are Battle scars.. Every Mother who has them should wear them proud.

    Thanks ladies for your responses.
I actually went and got me some vitamin E gels. I have started rubbing them on my tummy along with the cocoa butter. I know it will not send the stretch marks away but im hoping it wont scar too much. I read that keeping your belly moist will prevent the skin from actually ripping which makes it looks more like scars than stretch marks.
