    Question How to break the news

    I have just taken two pregnancy tests this afternoon/evening and they were positive!!!!!

    I have actually already had a gyn apt for next Friday, so I will find out more exact info there I am sure, but there is one thing I am worried/wondering about.

    I need to go ahead and tell my husband my news, what I found with the test today. He doesn't know I took tests or that I was wondering about being pregnant. All he knows is that I have not been feeling well the last few days.

    Could anyone give me some advice of how I could tell him the news? I hope he is not upset with me or mad. I have been on birth control, religiously for over a year. Maybe a way I could tell him to get him excited if maybe he isn't quite ready to have a baby yet?

    Congrats on being pregnant!
    Maybe a nice candlelit dinner will be nice, it will set a romantic mood for both of you. Remind him of how much you love him etc..Then go on and tell him the news. Im sure he will be happy. Goodluck and let us know how it went!

    Talking A-OK!

    I broke down crying last night and told my husband that took two tests and that they were both positive. We talked for a long time and everything is going to be fine. This morning, I took one more test first thing when I got up and it was positive too! So we are pretty convinced, although I have a gyn appt Tuesday (already scheduled, great timing!) and I will ask about a blood test to be 100% positive, thanks for your reply!

    I think I might already be 5 weeks.....we did the math later on and this might be a posibility...

    I drank 2 smirnoffs at a festival 2 weeks ago, am I going to be alright?

    Awesome! Im so happy for you two!
    You will be alright, just dont drink alcohol throughout the rest of your pregnancy to be on the safe side. Keep us updated!
